Fabriken låg i Älvdalen, och grundades 1925 av Albin Hagström. 1938 införlivades Accordiafabriken i Stockholm i koncernen. Tillverkningen upphörde 1983. Under 2005 började dock de klassiska Hagström-gitarrerna åter tillverkas.
